Run Happy Agent on a Prized box
Put Happy Agent on a Prized box as a remote server, so the Claude Code and Codex sessions you drive from Happy Desktop or your phone keep running while your laptop sleeps.
Happy can run its agent on any Linux server with systemd that you can SSH into with sudo (Happy's guide). A Prized box is one: Ubuntu 24.04, with passwordless sudo.
1. Start a box
npx prizedIt signs you up, starts a box, and adds it to your SSH config (Quickstart). Use your box's name in place of mango (prized box ls lists them), and check that plain ssh reaches it:
ssh mango echo ok
# ok2. Keep the box awake
Happy Agent waiting for your phone counts as idle, so on the free credit the box pauses after 2 hours idle (never in its first 24 hours), and Happy can't wake it. Switch auto-pause off for this box, or set a longer window such as 7d (Auto-pause):
prized box auto-pause mango offIf it paused anyway, prized box resume mango --wait wakes it, and the Happy Agent service comes back with the box.
3. Ask Happy to install it
In Happy Desktop, ask the Chief of Staff:
Put Happy Agent on my server mango. Call it mango. It installs Happy Agent over ssh mango as a system service and asks for your model sign-ins. Approve the AppArmor allowance it asks for: boxes keep Ubuntu 24.04's restriction on user namespaces (Machines), and Happy's sandbox needs the grant to start. To drive it from your phone, ask the Chief of Staff to pair your phone (Mobile Access).
