# Run T3 Code's agents on a Prized box

> Add a Prized box as an SSH environment in T3 Code, so its Claude Code and Codex threads run on a cloud Linux machine instead of your laptop.

[T3 Code](https://t3.codes) runs Claude Code, Codex and other agents side by side. With a Prized box as an environment, its threads build and test on the box and keep going with the lid closed.

## 1. Start a box [#1-start-a-box]

Sign up at [prized.dev](https://prized.dev/sign-in) and follow the tour: it starts a box on $30 of free credit with no card, and the command it shows installs the CLI and adds the box to your SSH config ([Quickstart](https://prized.dev/docs/quickstart)). Use your box's name in place of `mango` below.

## 2. Sign the agents in on the box [#2-sign-the-agents-in-on-the-box]

```bash
prized agents handoff claude codex --gh
```

## 3. Add the box in T3 Code [#3-add-the-box-in-t3-code]

In the desktop app, open **Settings › Connections › Add environment**, choose **SSH**, and pick `mango` from the host list; T3 Code reads your SSH config. The first connect installs T3 Code's server in `~/.t3` on the box.

If **Settings › Providers** marks Codex **Incompatible**, accept T3 Code's **Update providers** prompt: it updates Codex and Claude Code on the box.

## 4. Open a project on the box [#4-open-a-project-on-the-box]

Click **Add project**, pick the box's environment, then **Local folder** and a path such as `~/code/myproject`. New threads in that project run on the box.

## When the box sleeps [#when-the-box-sleeps]

On the free credit, a box pauses after 2 hours idle ([Auto-pause](https://prized.dev/docs/boxes#auto-pause)). To keep it up while agents work:

```bash
prized box auto-pause mango off
```

`prized box resume mango --wait` wakes a paused box.
