# Run Orca's agents on a Prized box

> Connect Orca to a Prized box over SSH, so its worktrees and coding agents run on a cloud Linux machine and keep going when you close the app.

[Orca](https://www.onorca.dev) runs a fleet of coding agents, each in its own git worktree. With a Prized box as an SSH host, the worktrees and agents live on the box and keep running when you close Orca.

## 1. Start a box [#1-start-a-box]

Sign up at [prized.dev](https://prized.dev/sign-in) and follow the tour: it starts a box on $30 of free credit with no card, and the command it shows installs the CLI and adds the box to your SSH config ([Quickstart](https://prized.dev/docs/quickstart)). Replace `mango` with your box's name.

## 2. Sign the agents in on the box [#2-sign-the-agents-in-on-the-box]

```bash
prized agents handoff claude codex --gh
```

## 3. Connect Orca to the box [#3-connect-orca-to-the-box]

In Orca, click **Add project**, open the **Host** menu, and click **Connect** beside `mango`; Orca lists the hosts in your SSH config. The first connect installs Orca's own server in `~/.orca-remote` on the box, so the box needs no Node.

## 4. Add a project and start agents [#4-add-a-project-and-start-agents]

Click **Browse folder**, pick a repository such as `~/code/myproject`, and click **Add Git Project**. Then click **New workspace**, keep **Run on** set to `mango`, and pick an agent: the worktree and the agent both run on the box.

## When the box sleeps [#when-the-box-sleeps]

On the free credit, a box pauses after 2 hours idle ([Auto-pause](https://prized.dev/docs/boxes#auto-pause)). To keep it up while agents work:

```bash
prized box auto-pause mango off
```

`prized box resume mango --wait` wakes a paused box.
