A **box** is a cloud Linux machine you work on, where an agent keeps running with your laptop closed.

A **sandbox** is a microVM your code creates and throws away ([Boxes or Sandboxes?](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-or-boxes)).

## Coding agents [#coding-agents]

| Agent | Guide |
| --- | --- |
| Claude Code | [Keep Claude Code running with your laptop closed](https://prized.dev/docs/keep-claude-code-running), [on a schedule](https://prized.dev/docs/run-claude-code-on-a-schedule), [several at once](https://prized.dev/docs/parallel-agents) |
| Codex | [Run Codex in the cloud](https://prized.dev/docs/run-codex-in-the-cloud) |
| OpenCode | [Run OpenCode in the cloud](https://prized.dev/docs/run-opencode-in-the-cloud) |
| pi | [Run the pi coding agent in the cloud](https://prized.dev/docs/run-pi-in-the-cloud) |
| Cursor CLI | [Run the Cursor CLI in the cloud](https://prized.dev/docs/run-cursor-cli-in-the-cloud) |

Each runs on a box. To prompt Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode or pi there from your machine or a script and follow the run, see [Prompt an agent remotely](https://prized.dev/docs/remote-agents).

To let Claude Code or Codex run every command without asking, away from your machine, give it a sandbox: [Run Claude Code with --dangerously-skip-permissions in an isolated VM](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-claude-code-skip-permissions).

## Editors, terminals and desktop apps [#editors-terminals-and-desktop-apps]

| Tool | Guide |
| --- | --- |
| Cursor and VS Code | [Remote-SSH](https://prized.dev/docs/cursor-remote-ssh), or [your project synced to your laptop](https://prized.dev/docs/remote-dev-box) |
| Dev Containers | [Use your devcontainer.json](https://prized.dev/docs/devcontainers) |
| Claude desktop app | [Claude Desktop remote](https://prized.dev/docs/claude-desktop) |
| ChatGPT desktop app (Codex) | [Codex remote](https://prized.dev/docs/codex) |
| opencode Desktop | [Use opencode Desktop with a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/opencode-desktop) |
| herdr | [Land in herdr instead of tmux](https://prized.dev/docs/herdr) |

Each works on a box. So can any other tool that connects to a Linux server over SSH: `prized setup` adds the box to your SSH config under its name ([Sessions](https://prized.dev/docs/sessions#editors-and-other-tools)).

## Agent apps [#agent-apps]

| App | Guide |
| --- | --- |
| Superset | [Run Superset's agents on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/superset) |
| Orca | [Run Orca's agents on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/orca) |
| T3 Code | [Run T3 Code's agents on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/t3-code) |
| Happy | [Run Happy Agent on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/happy) |
| Paseo | [Run Paseo's agents on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/paseo) |
| Ouroboros | [Run Ouroboros on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/ouroboros) |

## Always-on assistants [#always-on-assistants]

| Assistant | Guide |
| --- | --- |
| Hermes Agent | [Run Hermes Agent on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/hermes-agent) |
| OpenClaw | [Run OpenClaw on a Prized box](https://prized.dev/docs/openclaw) |

## Frameworks and your own code [#frameworks-and-your-own-code]

To give an agent you wrote a machine it keeps coming back to, create a box through the API: [Give your AI agent a persistent cloud computer](https://prized.dev/docs/persistent-cloud-computer).

For code that needs a clean machine per job, each of these runs it in a sandbox:

| For | Guide |
| --- | --- |
| Vercel AI SDK | [Run Vercel AI SDK tool calls in a sandbox](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-vercel-ai-sdk) |
| Python or TypeScript | [Use Sandboxes from Python or TypeScript](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-python-typescript), a helper to copy for each language |
| Any HTTP client | [Sandbox API](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-api) |
| An agent's commands, one VM per agent | [Run code from an AI agent in an isolated VM](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-run-agent-code) |
| An orchestrator, one sandbox per task | [Run an orchestrator agent with a sandbox per task](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-orchestrator) |
| Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other coding agents | [Use Prized from your coding agent](https://prized.dev/docs/sandboxes-coding-agents), with the Prized skill |

## Services [#services]

[Connectors](https://prized.dev/docs/connectors) mount credentials for ClickHouse, OpenAI, Anthropic, GitHub or Slack into a box without writing the real value to its disk.

## Moving from another service [#moving-from-another-service]

Leaving Ona (Gitpod)? [Moving from Ona (Gitpod)](https://prized.dev/docs/moving-from-ona) turns your config into a setup script for a box.

Leaving E2B or Runloop? [Moving from E2B](https://prized.dev/docs/moving-from-e2b) and [Moving from Runloop](https://prized.dev/docs/moving-from-runloop) map each call to a sandbox.
